IWGA Athlete of the Month October 2015: Massi Piffaretti (Italy)
Congratulations to Massimiliano Piffaretti, IWGA Athlete of the Month for October 2015.
The 21 year old athlete won gold against all odds at the Wakeboard World Championships in Cancun Mexico. In the Open Men finals on Saturday Massi Piffaretti overtook all the top seeds. Harley Clifford (AUS), Phil Soven (USA), Cory Teunissen (AUS) were totally taken by surprise when underdog from Como in Italy performed in an outstanding and gold winning way. The World Championships are one of the IWWF qualifying competitions for The World Games 2017 in Wroclaw/Poland.
