Thank you, Ron

After a quarter of a century serving the IWGA first as Acting President and then as President, I believe that the time is now right for me to pass the baton to a successor,” Ron Froehlich said about his decision to stand down at the IWGA AGM in Belek.  And he added: “It was a great privilege and a pleasure for me to serve the IWGA and its Members during all these years.” He has always regarded himself as a "volunteer" using all his talents for the benefit of the athletes.

At the AGM, the delegates of the 36 member federations unanimously appointed Ron Froehlich by acclamation as Honorary Life President of the IWGA. He promised: ”I will continue to help and support The World Games Family.”
