womens-under-19-world-floorball-championships2The 7th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2016 will be played in Belleville, Ontario, Canada 4th - 8th May 2016 with a record amount of participating teams.

16 teams, a new record, have registered for the Women’s U19 WFC 2016, including Jamaica, Japan, Thailand and USA who will all make their debut in this category.

As a result of their very successful participation of their men’s & women’s teams in the South East Asia Games the Thailand Floorball Federation made a special request to make a late registration for the Women’s U19 WFC 2016. The acceptance of their registration means that there will be a full B-division of 8 teams for the first time ever in the Women’s U19 WFC, and it will continue to aid the fast development of floorball that we are seeing in Thailand, Sarah Mitchell from the IFF competition office informs.

The tournament will be played with A- & B-divisions, each with 8 teams divided into two groups.

A-DIVISION - B-DIVISION

Sweden (1) - Hungary (8)

Finland (2) - Canada (10)

Czech Republic (3) - Germany (11)
