Archery: The World Cup in Wrocław, Poland!
11-16 August, Pergola near the Centennial Hall
The capital of Lower Silesia is the world's centre of archery for the third consecutive time! From Tuesday 11 August to 16 August the World Archery Cup will take place in Wrocław within the Third Round of the World Archery Competitions. More than 300 archers from 45 countries will come to the host city of The World Games 2017 to compete in the categories of classical arch, compound arch and the so-called "team trial". Archery is one of the sports of The World Games 2017, which will be showcased in Wrocław.
Eliminations and qualifications for the finals will take place from 11 to 14 August. The Champ de Mars (the area of the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław) will be the competition arena. The competition finals will be held at Pergola near the Centennial Hall on 15 and 16 August at 11.00-13.00 and 15.00-17.00. Watch the event on The World Games Channel.
In addition to the world-class spectacle, the team of The World Games has prepared some surprises for the spectators. They will include knowledge of sports competitions of TWG in 2017, film broadcastings in virtual reality technology, thanks to which the audience will find themselves in the centre of the sporting competition and you will know the discipline of the Games. There will also be games and animation with The World Games mascots - Hansel and Gretel!
