Germany will send 145 athletes or teams to Wroclaw, and the biggest non-European country is the USA with 126 athletes/teams.

The athletes come from more countries than ever before, and the Games will be broadcast in more countries than ever before.

One of the first-time participants, Ju-Jitsu World Champion Louis Cloots from Belgium, is enthusiastic about the opportunity to compete at The World Games: “The World Games looks like the Olympic Games to me: a big and spectacular event. I am really excited about my selection for The World Games 2017, because I did not expect it yet – my goal was to be in the team for The World Games 2021. I will do my absolute best to succeed. I cannot wait to be there!”
