Hanna Domagala had already talked about how preparations were going during the IWGA’s Annual General Meeting in Saint Petersburg on Monday. She opened her presentation with a joke: “We are ready”, she said, but then added: “No, we are not ready because we first need to have all of you in Wroclaw.”

This means we have to be here as well. Being the host of The World Games is both a challenge and an opportunity for our city.”

Wroclaw, in the west of Poland, is a university city with more than 700.000 inhabitants. Wroclaw was one of the host cities of the Euro 2012 and will be the European Capital of Culture in 2016.
