Malta new IFF Member

The IFF welcomes Malta Floorball Association to the IFF family as the 58th Member.

The Malta Floorball Association (MFbA) was founded 4th of April 2015 at Sliema and Mr. Alexander Stevendahl is the President of the Association.

Future IFF Event organisers

The following IFF Member Associations have shown their interest to organise the Women’s WFC 2019 and the Men’s WFC 2020:

WFC 2019: Switzerland

WFC 2020: Finland and Switzerland

The IFF office will continue the bidding process for both the Women’s WFC 2019 and the Men's WFC 2020.

 

Men's WFC 2016 Qualification Groups

The 11th Men’s World Floorball Championships will be played in Riga, Latvia, December 3rd-11th 2016 with 16 teams. The main arena for the WFC 2016 will be the Riga Arena.

The Groups for the Men's WFC 2016 have been decided and there will be a total of 6 groups - four in Europe and one each in Asia-Oceania and the Americas. The WFC Qualifications are played in Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Slovenia, USA and Thailand (to be confirmed).

The International World Games Association (IWGA) is a non-profit-making international sports organisation recognised and supported by the International Olympic Committee. The IWGA comprises 40 International Member Sports Federations. It administers and promotes The World Games (TWG), a multi-sport event held every four years that features around 35 sports on its programme. The next edition of TWG will be in Chengdu (CHN) from 7-17 August 2025. 5,000 participants from more than 100 countries are expected to take part in this 12th edition. The latest Games were hosted by Birmingham, Alabama (USA).
