First medal
The first medals of The World Games 2017 will be presented at 17:08 on Friday 21st July by the side of the Orbita Swimming Pool. The winners of the Womens 50m Underwater Finswimming without any breathing apparatus will be given their medals jointly by The International World Games Association President Jose Perurena and Polish Minister of Sport Witold Barika. Which lady will be the first to claim gold? Athlete of The Day
Every day of The World Games 2017, a committee of experts will assess the performances of all The World Games athletes and select two competitors, (one male, one female) to be the Athlete of the Day. The winners of these prestigious awards will both receive Tissot Watches in recognition of their achievements. The presentation will take place each evening at 19:45 on The World Games Plaza at Wolnosci Square. Who will be the first athletes to be honoured for outstanding performances or sportsmanship?
