Boules, Flying Disc and Wushu all start today, and it’s the final day for Floorball, Men’s Lacrosse and Men’s Inline Hockey. There is action in 14 different sports, and 18 sets of medals (Individual or Team) will be awarded.
Wushu takes place at the Bill Battle Coliseum, with 10 classes being decided over two days, five classes each day. Boules is also a sport being held over two days, at the University of Alabama Track & Field Stadium. Today there are competitions in Lyonnaise Progressive Shooting and Pétanque Precision Shooting, both moving from Qualification through Semi-finals and then Finals. Flying Disc has one class – Ultimate Team – with Preliminary matches over the first three days of five. This sport takes place at the John Carroll High School.
Gymnastics moves to the Legacy Arena in the Jefferson Complex for Aerobics Dance and Aerobics Pair, and 2 classes in Rhythmic Gymnastics for women: Ball and Hoop. All four events move through from Qualification to Final.
Two Placement matches, the Bronze medal match and the Final in Men’s Inline Hockey take place today at the Harris Arena. In Lacrosse at the Compass Soccer Stadium, Preliminary matches in the Women’s Outdoor Sixes will be held during the day, with the Men’s Final in Outdoor Sixes scheduled for the evening. Floorball concludes with its Bronze match and Final at the Jefferson Complex. And it’s the final day for the Field Recurve discipline (men and women) in Archery: the Semi-finals and Finals take place at Avondale park.
Flag Football at Legion Field and Racquetball at the University of Alabama reach the Quarter Final stage today for both men and women, so eight matches in all in both sports. Semi-finals in Softball take place at the Hoover Stadium. In Fistball at Panther Soccer Stadium, the women’s class reaches the Semi-Final stage (plus 1 Placement match) whilst the men have their final day of Preliminary matches. Beach Handball at Sloss Furnaces has a second day of Preliminary matches for both men and women.
Finally, in Canoe Sport competitors will fight for 2 sets of medals, men and women in K1 Standard Distance, at Double Oak Lake.

The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association, organised with the support of the International Olympic Committee. The 11th edition of The World Games will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 7-17 July 2022. 3,600 athletes from 34 sports and over 100 countries will take part in The World Games.
