At The World Games 2021, there will be 30 official sports on the programme. Before the Games, The World Games video team presents all the sports in the series “Beginner’s Guide”.

“The videos that we have published so far have been extremely successful on social media” Communication Officer Anna Jacobson says and continues: “The Finswimming video, for example, was published in November 2018, but still gets new likes and shares every couple of days. And the Muaythai video published yesterday has already been shared 250 times. We are very excited about our sports and it is good to see that so are the fans, too!”

So far, the sports that have been presented in the Beginner’s Guides are Squash, Finswimming, Lacrosse, Canoe Polo, Floorball, Sumo, and Muaythai. The rest of The World Games 2021 sports will follow during 2019 and 2020. Besides Beginner’s Guides, there are currently two other The World Games video campaigns on social media: Did you know – curious facts about The World Games sports, and Guess the Sport.

All Beginner’s Guides and other videos can be found on Facebook and YouTube.
