A total of 711 media representatives from around the world have already been approved by the organizers of The World Games 2013, Cali.
Journalists from 33 countries including, amongst others, the Czech Republic, the People’s Republic of China, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Argentina, Venezuela and Mexico, make up the international media group, with over 90 representatives coming to provide cover of the sports competitions as they progress.
Colombia is represented by 621 journalists from radio stations, newspapers, the web and television nationwide, who have already obtained approval for accreditation.
After carrying out the thorough accreditation procedures, for which over 2,000 journalists from around the world registered, the event organizers finally notified 711 journalists that they would be authorized to provide coverage during the 11 days of sporting competitions.
The Media Center will be located in the Centrosur Mall, at the intersection of Calle 9 with Carrera 34, on the 2nd Floor. Here, all accredited international and national media representatives will have access to the newsroom, which is, equipped with 150 work stations and technical services including high speed Wi-Fi internet connection and everything needed to access news arising during the sporting events.
